Crunches. He's going to tell me to do lots of stomach crunches isn't he? Man if I hurt my neck doing another pointless crunch I swear I'm gonna. That is what many people think when they first hear someone telling them the secret to flat toned abs. And Im right there with you. Crunches are boring, unproductive and shockingly ineffective compared to the two techniques I'll reveal later in this article.

The truth is the most effective abs exercises are performed Standing Up. But no gym instructor or personal trainer will tell you that and the reason is, most don't know. Pilates and stability ball instructors are perhaps closer to the secret of the six pack than anyone else. In both, you are taught basic pelvis and abdominal tension, but they never get further than that. They never get to the good stuff.

The secret to a well toned waist, a firm trim tummy, and strong sexy six pack is all contained in 1 word - Isometrics. Isometrics, defined as the contraction of a muscle without moving the joint, is the scientifically proven fastest way to build strength and muscle.

Before I explain step by step how to perform an isometric contraction for the waist I wasnt to explain a little bit about the actual muscles you will be working. One you will be familiar with, and its the less important of the two. The other, well its crucial for developing a flat stomach.

In the following exercises we will be working the Rectus abdominus and the Transverse abdominus. The Rectus is commonly called the six pack. Its a sheet of muscle running from the base of the rib cage (sternum) the pelvis. It gets the six pack look from the tendons running across it. Here's the thing though - the rectus naturally curves outwards when developed meaning you get a muscle belly!

So how do you keep it in tight and flat and develop the coveted washboard look? That is where my friend the transverse abdominus comes in. He connects the rectus to the lower back and effectively pulls the abs inwards, towards the spine. The problem is very few people even realise they have one, and those that do dont know how to train it.

Well here's how.

The 7 Second Stomach Flattener

1. Stand or sit tall and straight. 2. Breathe in and as you do so pull in your stomach. 3. Keep this tense and held in place 4. Contact the abs as hard as you can, you rib cage will dip down slightly and your pelvis may rotate upwards 5. Breathe out making an 'sssss' this will cause inter-abdominal contraction 6. Continue this for 7 seconds. 7. Once finished keep the stomach in tight and repeat ten times. 8. Do NOT relax the stomach until completely finished all 10 reps.

The All Natural Tummy Tucker *Do this ONLY on an Empty Stomach*

1. Stand up straight with your feet wider then shoulder width. 2. Exhale all the air form your lungs 3. As you do so bend over as though trying to touch your toes 4. Once you are as low as you can bend and have breathed out all the air you can, pull in your stomach as much as you can 5. Hold this tension and slowly stand up 6. You want to keep you stomach in as tight as you can 7. Tense your stomach keeping it in tight. 8. Hold for ten seconds. 9. Slowly relax and capture your breathe 10. Repeat 10 times.

Thats it. You just need those two exercises and they can be performed virtually anywhere. You can practice in the shower, in the car, in the office, anywhere.

Now I will mention one thing you wont see visible results if you have a high body fat %. You will of course feel the results and quickly too. Your stomach will naturally begin to pull inwards, and become firmer. But guys you need your body fat % close to 8% and gals you need it about 12% to really see chiselled definition.

The best way to do this is enjoy a nice walk, first thing the morning before breakfast. Refreshing, invigorating and slimming, and combined with these two exercises which will improve digestion and fat burning youll be trim and slim in no time.

We all make grilling and barbecue cooking mistakes. Sometimes we don't even know what they are until we realize that the barbecued and grilled food you cook is not as good as you've had elsewhere. Make a mental note of these outdoor cooking tips and get in the outdoor cooking game.

Your average backyard cook is no expert in the barbecue or grilling field. He has no television shows on the Food Network. He has no grilling cookbooks out. Nor has any of those been part of his lifetime goal.

No, your average outdoor cooking enthusiast makes more mistakes with BBQ grilling than you could ever imagine. The meat ends up dry and tough time after time, despite marinating for hours. Or the meat is burnt or cooked too long.

These mistakes are made time and time again because your average backyard cook usually does not know any different.

Here are some of the more common mistakes and do's and don'ts made in bbq grill cooking:

1) If you started with frozen meat, make sure the meat is thawed completely. Trying to cook the inside of a still-frozen piece of meat is next to impossible without burning the outside.

2) When using a charcoal grill, try to start the fire without charcoal lighter fluid. Lighter fluid taste will always get into your meat no matter how much you cook the coals down first. A chimney starter makes starting the fire a breeze. It also allows you to add charcoal along the way should should the coals burn out along the way.

3) Never poke the bbq meat with a fork after cooking has begun. This is one of the most common mistakes and one of the most deadly for your barbecue. When poking with a fork, the juices will run out of the meat and right into the bottom of the barbecue pit or grill. Your meat will be dry and less tender. Use a long set of tongs to turn the meat.

4) Lower the heat. Except for steaks, that need a quick searing, cook slow over low to medium heat. Lower heat is much more manageable and it will make the meat tender and juicy.

5) Quit lifting the lid to check the meat. Every time you do that it changes the temperature inside the bbq grill or pit. Air from you opening the lid acts like a sponge and dries the meat up. Opening the lid also increases your chances of flare-ups.

5) This is more of a food safety mistake. Do not put the cooked meat back on the same plate or platter that the raw meat was on without washing it first. Mixing the cooked with the raw just begs for someone to get sick.

Of course, these are not all of the mistakes made by the amateur outdoor cook, but are some of the more common. But if you will prevent doing these yourself, you will eliminate many of the things that cause barbeque failures.

Your guests and family will wonder how come your grilled or barbecued food is so much better then it used to be. And, who knows?...Maybe the Food Network will come looking for you.

I thought it was about time I threw some light on to a particular aspect of back pain. This particular aspect is the one regarding the prescription of rest.

We will begin with a delve back into history, not too long ago may I add but considered prehistoric to some, especially in terms of the methods of treatment for back pain.

The actual history of low back pain is another story but let's just revisit the recent past. The time I am referring to is when you visited your doctor complaining of back pain and the sum total of the medical help you received was being told to go home and lie on a board for six weeks. This people duly did and were compliant to varying degrees I am sure. Some I presume lasted for the whole forty two days to the hour whether or not their pain had gone or whether they were in sheer agony and others more than likely, lasted until the first piercings of boredom roused themselves before dispensing with the said board.

How long ago this practice died out is not easy to say. In fact I know at least one osteopath or chiropractitioner in The United Kingdom still utilises this course of action. This is for sure though now more the exception rather than the rule.

So was it or is it effective? To a degree yes. It allows the stresses of weight and movement to be taken off the injured spine so preventing further injury and enabling healing to begin with minimal disruption. The trouble is that unless the spine is fractured the benefits of lying down are essentially achieved in forty eight to seventy two hours. After this time the adoption of long periods of bed rest begins to have more negative than positive effects. These effects include joint stiffness, muscle wasting and other complications associated with long periods of immobility.

Other things to note are that advice was rarely if at all dispensed as to altering the lying posture to side or front (prone) lying for comfort or benefit.

As with so many things the pendulum tends to swing markedly to the other extreme once the seed of doubt has been planted into the consciousness of significant minds. Hence the new school of thought that came into being approximately twenty to thirty years ago was based on the hypotheses that 'rest was bad and movement was good.' So a trip to the doctors with low back pain yielded a "good dose of exercises and carry on at work, you'll be fine." Strangely enough this was not always successful as an antidote to the problem either.

Today the pendulum of medical opinion for me as a Chartered Physical Therapist with all the benefits of hindsight and experience has brought me to the point where I believe the best answer lies somewhere in between with a balance of CORRECTLY PRESCRIBED REST AND EXERCISE.

I generally find that with acute back pain, rest is needed to take the stress off the back structures to help the inflammation and pain to settle and allow healing to beginr. This rest is not strict bed rest but is more often than not a prescription of lying down for a period of forty eight hours with changes of position allowed for, as well as breaks for trips to the bathroom and for eating and drinking encouraged periodically during the day. With the correct analgesia I find that this amount and specificity of rest achieves a state where the back pain is settled to a degree sufficient to allow movement and therapy to move the process on to the next level.

So rest is neither good nor bad. It is just a tool for us to use in our armoury. Insufficent rest will see the exacerbation of inflammation and continuation of pain. Excessive rest will see an onset of joint stiffness, muscle weakness and functional disability amongst other possibilities.

The answer seems to lie (pardon the pun) with utilising initial and short periods of rest of approximately forty eight hours to reduce the effects of acute inflammation and then use graded treatment and movement to return the spine to as healthy a state as possible. This can take variable amounts of time depending on the particular problem, the details of which are probably best left for another time.

So there we have it: to rest or not to rest, that is the question. You now have the answer.

I don't believe that anybody can have a true abundance in ANY area of their life without first feeling immensely confident in themselves. And the main determining factor in any persons confidence is how they feel about their physical being (or their body); and the shape and health of a person's body is determined, to a large extent, by certain universal laws that absolutely must be followed each and every day.

Here's an example of just one of those laws...I once heard it said that nearly 70% of all the energy a person uses during the course of a single day (70%) is used simply to digest the foods they eat. Therefore, if it takes 100 grams of energy (bear with me for using such basic terminology here) to digest each and every meal you eat during the day, but by improving the efficiency of your metabolism, we can get your body to digest each meal using only 50 grams of energy, then you could have nearly double the energy to put toward all your normal daily activities.

So if one of your main life goals is to make more money, would it beneficial to you if you had more physical energy to do the daily tasks necessary to build your financial streams? What about all the added mental energy that you would have to put towardcreatively designing new ways to handle all the daily challenges that every entrepreneur faces today?

Personally, I never had success in my life until I took control of my body. I remember feeling like a failure in everything I did. I remember not even wanting to go out of the house because I didn't like the way I looked, in fact, I specifically remember not wanting to leave the house even to go to the store to buy food because I hated the way I looked in all of my clothes.

Today, I rarely think about the clothes I'm going to put on each day because I feel confident that, no matter what I wear, my body will make those clothes look good. All clothes just hang better on a body that's in shape. That means that guys who wear their shirts 'untucked' no longer HAVE to do that (unless they truly like that style) - and women who wear black because it's 'slimming' can now wear any color they like - because their BODY will make that color look good on them.

This is the way everyone should feel! When I finally took charge of my physique, everything in my life got better - my social life improved, my health improved, my family life improved, my spiritual life improved, and my financial life skyrocketed. I went from feeling like nobody noticed me to being picked out in a crowd of people (the right people).

Here's a horrible fact that I regularly speak about in my teleseminars and live events; in todays society, without a nice body, people subconsciously make life a bit harder for you. You see it all the time. People who are in good shape almost always get treated differently by others. Now I'm not saying that's fair it's absolutely not - but it's a fact of life, so why not take advantage of it? You see, you cant change the fact that most everybody else in the world seems to treat good-looking people better, but you can change the one person who really matters, and thats you. You can make yourself as strong and healthy-looking as possible, making life easier for you and setting a good example for your family so that they can also live a more successful and healthy life.

Good looking people climb the corporate ladder faster, they portray more authority when they stand in front of their staff, they get more preferential treatment, and they have far more stamina to take on all the work that's necessary in order to build a powerful company or business.

There are eight people in my inner circle of friends, all of which own businesses which gross from $5 million to $700 million annually - the bigger the business, the more focus that owner puts on staying in top shape. These people aren't stupid, they don't want to grow a huge company then not be in good enough health to enjoy the rewards -- and the secret that all of these folks have is that being in good shape didn't start when they became successful - it started way before that - and probably had a lot to do with their success.

Have you ever have problems in getting earwax out of your ears? ? Well, I definitely do. Some common methods used are using cotton buds to dig out earwax after a bath is taken and use a "ear digger" to dig out the earwax. However, these two methods may harm the ears in the long term. You may ram the wax deeper or puncture your eardrum or scratch your ear canal. Why not try the safe method listed below:

1. Loosen the ear wax

Massage the area directly behind your earlobe to help loosen the tax. Then pull or tug the fleshy pendulous part of the external human ear while opening and closing your mouth.

2. Soften and Rinse

There are 2 ways to help the wax wane.

a.) Hydrogen peroxide -Fill an eyedropper with warm hydrogen peroxide that is body temperature or a little warmer. Lie down with your blocked ear facing upwards and fill the ear with hydrogen peroxide. Hold for 2 to 3 minutes and then drain the liquid out by tilting your head the other way round. Now tilt your head back once more and then gently squirt warm water from a bulb syringe into your ear. Let it settle and then tilt your head to other side and let it run again. Clean the water and soften wax with cotton balls.

b.) Use baby oil or mineral oil into affected ear with an ear dropper. You may leave it for 1 hr. Then use a bulb syringe, fill up with warm water, gently squirt warm water from a bulb syringe into your ear. This is to flush the oil out from your ear. Turn your head from side to side to drain the water out.

Some experts believe that reduced consumption of saturated fats like meat and diary and hydrogenated fats (found in commercially baked snacks) will help to reduce earwax and make the wax less sticker. Those people who are wearing hearing aid, it is a good idea to wipe it with a tissue every night. This will help to get rid wax residue before it has time to accumulate.ce box if you'd like

Remember those pre-child days when you would go out to a fancy restaurant or spend the weekend at a romantic get-away to celebrate Valentine's Day? That may not be an option this year, but you can still enjoy a romantic dinner with your spouse. Here are a few ideas on how you can easily create a romantic Valentines Day dinner at home.

Creating The Menu

This is the perfect time for some 'Grown-up' food. Cook a separate dinner for the kids or order in some pizza. Let the kids eat an early dinner and then send them off to play, or watch a movie while the two of you enjoy your meal. If your children are really young, you may want to put them to bed before you sit down for your Valentines Day dinner.

Cooking a restaurant inspired meal doesn't have to be complicated. Pick up some mini-quiches in your grocers frozen food section and bake them up as an appetizer. For a first course pick up a can of gourmet style soup that you just need to heat up. Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and some fresh herbs for visual appeal.

Choose a main dish that you can prepare ahead of time, so you can enjoy the evening. Good choices are baked salmon or chicken. Just place either one in a baking dish, add whichever marinade you prefer and refrigerate. When you are ready just bake it until it's done. Serve with mixed greens and fancy store-bought vinaigrette. Grab French bread, or fix some wild rice.

Dessert could be anything from cheesecake with fresh fruit, to chocolate dipped strawberries to chocolate mouse that you can make ahead and refrigerate. Or serve assorted cheeses with a nice glass of red wine.

Setting The Scene

Set the table with a tablecloth, cloth napkins and candles. Take out your good china and crystal. Since dinner will be just for the two of you, you dont have to worry about damaging any of your special tableware. Now is the perfect time to enjoy all these fancy goodies you received as wedding gifts.

Take the time to dress up, and do your hair and makeup. I feel sure you spouse will appreciate it and you will feel like you are actually going out. For even more fun get ready in separate rooms and ask your date to come pick you up.

Turn down the lights and light the candles. Play some soft, romantic music, or some songs that have special meaning for the two of you. You never know, with the right music, your romantic Valentines Day dinner may end with some slow dancing in your dinning room.

Staying in doesn't mean you can't have a wonderful romantic Valentine's Day dinner. You never know, this may turn out to be the most romantic Valentines date yet.

Medical hair restoration in the literal sense includes the hair loss treatment which depends upon the use of medicines. Unusual hair loss both in men and women is caused by the alterations in the androgen metabolism. The metabolism of androgen involves an enzyme called 5 alpha reductase which combines with the hormone androgen (testosterone) to form the DHT (Dihydro-testosterone). DHT is a natural metabolite of our body which is the root cause of hair loss.

DHT gets into the hair follicles and roots (dermal papilla), it prevents necessary proteins, vitamins and minerals from providing nourishment for hair follicles. This shortens their growing stage (anagen phase) and lengthens their resting stage (telogen phase) of the follicle. DHT is responsible for 95% of hair loss.

Some individuals both men and women are genetically pre-disposed to produce more DHT than the normal individuals. DHT also creates a wax-like substance around the hair roots. DHT accumulation inside the hair follicles and roots is one of the primary causes of male and female pattern hair loss.

Blocking the synthesis of DHT at molecular level forms the basis for the treatment of MPHL (male pattern hair loss) and FPHL (female pattern hair loss). There are many natural DHT blockers and a number of drugs which are used for medical hair restoration. Lets see.

Minoxidil

Minoxidil has the distinction of the first drug being used for promoting the hair restoration. Minoxidil was then approved as medical hair restoration treatment drug for men by the FDA, USA in 1988 as a 2% solution, followed by 5% solution in 1997. For women, the 2% solution was approved in 1991. Though 5% solution is not approved for women, it is used as a medical hair restoration treatment by many dermatologists worldwide.

Mechanism of action

Minoxidil is thought to have a direct mitogenic effect on epidermal cells. Calcium normally enhances epidermal growth factors to inhibit hair growth. Minoxidil by getting converted to minoxidil sulfate enhances potassium ion permeability to prevent calcium ions from entering into cells. It takes about few months time for the results to be evident since it is the time which is necessary for restoring the normal growth cycle of hair fibers.

Though minoxidil does not have any effect on blood pressure, it should be used with caution in patient with cardiovascular diseases. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and nursing mothers.

Finasteride

The drug finasteride was earlier used as treatment for prostate enlargement, under the medical name Proscar. But in 1998, it was approved by FDA for the Medical hair loss restoration in MPHL.

Mechanism of Action

Medical hair restoration treatments with Finasteride depends upon its specific action as an inhibitor of type II 5α-reductase, the intracellular enzyme that converts male hormone androgen into DHT (Dihydro Testosterone). Its action results in significant decrease in serum and tissue DHT levels in even in concentration as low as 0.2mg. Finasteride stabilizes hair loss in 80% of patient with Vertex hair loss and in 70% of patients with frontal hair loss. The peculiar thing about Propecia is that its effect is more pronounced in crown area than in the front.

Many hair restoration surgeons find Propecia (finasteride) to act as an excellent adjunct to the surgical hair restoration.

Combination Therapy

There are reports which say that use of finasteride and topical minoxidil combination therapy as a Medical hair restoration treatment is of more advantage in cases of mild to moderate MPHL. Many hair restoration doctors have already started the use of combination therapy in order to obtain better hair growth.

Anti Androgen Therapy

For women with hyperandrogonism(with increased levels of androgen) who do not respond well to minoxidil, antiandrogen therapy is another option of medical hair restoration. In UK the most commonly used anti-androgen for women is CPA (cyproterone acetate), which is used in combination with ethinyl-estradiol.

In United States CPA is not available, the aldosterone antagonist spironolactone is the alternative choice of hair restoration doctors.

Flutamide

Medical hair restoration with flutamide has shown improvement as hair loss restoration treatment in women with hirsutism. For hyperandrogenic premenopausal women, flutamide is a better medical hair restoration agent than both the CPA or finestride.

Hair loss restoration management is a structured process. For more details on the topic you can refer to section medical hair restoration or article on male pattern hair loss or female pattern hair loss at our site hairtransplantadvice.com.

Everyday, people are exposed to various toxins, which harm the body and cause serious diseases. These toxins can be internal toxins that are released in the body as a by-product of normal metabolic activity; or external toxins such as heavy metals (lead, aluminum etc), smoke, drugs (cocaine, steroids etc), food preservatives and additives, alcohol, chemicals, harmful organic compounds etc. The list is practically endless, which is why the process of body detoxification assumes vital proportions.

Body detoxification refers to the ability of the human body to rid itself of harmful toxins. The body performs the detoxification process through four main organs, which are:

* The Kidneys
* The Liver
* The Skin
* The Intestines

All toxins in your blood, whether internal or external, reach your liver before they reach any other part of the body. The liver then acts upon these toxins and removes them through the bile and kidneys. Some water soluble toxins may escape the liver detoxification, but these are then eliminated through the kidneys. Your skin too helps in the process of body detoxification by eliminating toxins through sweat and skin rashes.

Thus, the natural body detoxification process generally ensures that all the toxins are removed from the body. However, in recent times, natural body detoxification processes may not be very efficient in removing all the harmful toxins from the body, due to several reasons such as:

* Sluggish detoxification enzymes in the body.

* Presence of too many toxins in the modern world.

* Poor nutrition and unhealthy diets. *Increased constipation.

* Loss of equilibrium of bowel flora.

* Presence of beta-glucuronidase, which is an enzyme that reverses the detoxification process, thus leading to an increase in the amounts of bodily toxins.

Due to all these factors, the natural process of body detoxification can take a severe beating, which is why it is essential to get body detoxification support. In order to optimize the body detoxification process, you may need to do several things including:

* Go on a detoxification diet.

* Take natural nutrients and antioxidants which support the liver detoxification process.

* Undergo various therapies for colon detoxification.

* By simply doing one thing and not doing the other, you will not be able to detoxify your body effectively.

For best results regarding body detoxification, it is recommended that you seek professional help. A natural health expert will advise you about the best combination of body detoxification therapies, depending on your individual needs and interests. You will thus not need to rely on a single product which may or may not benefit you, but will have the finest resources at hand for optimum body detoxification and good health.

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid (also called Hyaluronan, or HA) is a component of connective tissue whose function is to cushion and lubricate. Hyaluronan occurs throughout the body in abundant amounts in many of the places people with hereditary connective tissue disorders have problems such as joints, heart valves and eyes. Hyaluronic acid abnormalities are a common thread in connective tissue disorders. Interestingly, they are also common biochemical anomalies in most of the individual features of connective tissue disorders such as mitral valve prolapse, TMJ, osteoarthritis, and keratoconus.

The Importance of Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronan, HA)

Hyaluronic Acid is present in every tissue of the body. Retention of water is one of the most important biological functions of hyaluronic acid, second only to providing nutrients and removing waste from cells that do not have a direct blood supply, such as cartilage cells. With a lower than adequate amount of hyaluronic acid, nutrients cannot be moved into these cells and waste cannot be eliminated from cells. Hyaluronic acid is sometimes abbreviated as HA. Hyaluronic acid is found in the synovial joint fluid, the vitreous humor of the eye, the cartilage, blood vessels, extracellular matrix, skin and the umbilical cord.

Hyaluronic Acid ; "The Key To The Fountain of Youth"

Hyaluronic acid has been nicknamed by the press as the "key to the fountain of youth" because it has been noted that at least some people who ingest a lot of Hyaluronan in their diets tend to live to ripe old ages. ABC News had a show on a village in Japan and hyaluronic acid entitled, "The Village of Long Life: Could Hyaluronic Acid Be an Anti-Aging Remedy?"

Hyaluronic acid for use by humans has been derived from rooster combs. Rooster combs provide the purest form of hyaluronic acid (Hyalurinan, HA) available.

Benefits

- Hyaluronic acid moisturizes skin from the inside out, smoothing out wrinkles in the process

- Hyaluronic acid helps people who need to ease the flexing of their joints, especially their knees, by restoring cushioning to their joints

- Hyaluronic acid is suitable for men and women in their 30s and 40s who are beginning to see the first signs of aging

- Hyaluronic acid is suitable for seniors who have established joint conditions

Upper Back Pain is as painful or troublesome as the pain in the lower back or the neck. An injury or a strain is the most common reason for the pain in the upper portion of our backs. Although back pain in upper portion is not a common phenomenon, it can cause significant discomfort and needs to be treated carefully. The identification of the exact cause is necessary to treat the pain in the upper back.

Muscular irritation and joint malfunction have been found to be the most common causes of upper back pain. An injury or a poor posture can also result in back pain. In recent years, it has been found that people sitting in one posture for example working in front of the computer are more prone to suffer from this type of back pain.

Lack of activity or poor strength of our muscles is a very common cause of upper back pain and can be treated through chiropractic cure, acupuncture, massage, physical therapy and various types of stretching exercises. Again an injury or strain in the joints between the ribs and the upper back can result in severe pain. Such a situation can be rectified by exercises aimed at strengthening the muscles and loosening the back. A ruptured disk or a degenerative disk disease can also result in back pain in upper part.

An appropriate posture and regular strengthening exercises are a must for avoiding the pain in the upper back. A poor posture can lead to weak muscles and a strain in our joints and ligaments and thus cause upper back pain. Osteoporosis, a disease which makes ones bones fragile and weak, a rupture in the spinal disk or any other form of injury can also result in back pain. People suffering from heart disease can also experience pain in the upper back. Such people need to consult a specialist so as to avoid any complexities.

It is important to get proper medical treatment if the cause of your upper back pain is Osteoporosis, a ruptured disk or any other injury. However, if the pain is caused by a poor posture or a strain, we can take some self remedial action such as massaging the area of pain. Pain in the Trapezius or the triangle shaped muscles of the upper back and the shoulder blades can be rectified through self massage or massage by somebody else. Also try to concentrate on improving your posture and sit straight instead of slouching.

A poor posture eliminates the natural, weight-supporting S curve in our backs and weakens them. In contrast a right posture- chest out, stomach in, and buttocks tucked under- helps one to restore the S curve in our back. Proper exercises can enable one to rectify his/her posture. Proper massage by a physical therapist, use of acupuncture techniques and physical therapy also go a long way in relieving upper back pain.

I believe tiredness is a common problem that people faced nowadays. Believeme, I have experience the same thing myself. Everyday I will need to drag myself to work. Forcing myself to keep awake through out the day sometimes can be very torturing to me. Normally coffee is one of the choice drink to perk people up, but the side effects of the coffee is more than its benefits. So what causes tiredness and what can I do about it?

1. Water. Little do we know that water played an important role in our daily life. No doubt we drink water daily. But how much water should we consume and not to mention the quality of the water. Expert say we need to drink 8 glasses of water each day. My suggestion is to drink at least 2 liters of water and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda in it. Water from the tap contains many substances that make our body work extra hard to purge the poison out. So one way to reduce such effects is to purchase a water filter to reduce the bad substances.

2 Food. Food is a problem too? Yap. The choice of the food is a problem. Nowadays, people are eating more meat and carbohydrates than vegetables. That will cause our body to work harder and thus use more energy to digest our food. The nutrients in vegetables are also needed to assist in maintaining our body's system. So many methods are developed like Hay's diet and acid alkaline diet to help to improve our digestive system and thus make us more alert. each of us is allergic to certain food and that particular food will make us very tired. How to find out? Keep a food log and write down how you feel at the end of the day.

3. Emotions. Emotions will drain our energy. But we are humans and of course, emotions is part of us. But we need to vent our anger out and thus, exercise become part of activities to vent our frustrations out. Unfortunately, it is difficult to incorporate exercise in our busy life. But need no fear, EFT and release technique will assist you in getting all emotions out in less than 5 minutes. You can find more of these videos in youtube.com.

4. Sleep. Many people who have 8 hours of sleep may still find himself yawning and feeling listless. This may means quality of sleep is much more important than quantity of sleep. So how can you improve the quality of sleep? I have tried many methods and it turns out drinking vinegar is the best way to get myself in deep sleep. There are many uses for the vinegar and some people use it to wash their hair. Guess what, it turn out to be a good product to replace shampoo but somehow, the smell of vinegar on the hair makes people think twice of using vinegar. For starters, I will suggest drinking organic Apple cider vinegar as it is the most commonly found vinegar in the market. Just put in a teaspoon in a cup of water and drink it. Remember not to drink the vinegar directly as it will harm your throat and rinse your mouth after drinking the vinegar will helps to protect your teeth.

5. Supplements. Everybody needs different dosage of vitamins and minerals to ensure our body work in optimum manner. Always review your body reactions after taking one type supplement. Remember that everyone got different needs and not the best-selling vitamins and minerals will suit your needs.

6. Quiet Time. Leave time for yourself. Some people will take 1/2 hour each day to have a "talk" with themselves. Quite often, we neglect our needs and try to mind other people's business.

I do hope these suggestions are helpful to you. Sometimes, we really need to look at the root of the problem and the problem will be solved.

Consider this the basic in the how to make cappuccino series. This article would highlight the steps to make cappuccino like the baristas you see in Starbucks and most coffee shops...

Before moving on to the 3 simple steps to make the cappuccino, do you know what is cappuccino? The key to understanding this, would be invaluable to learn how to make it. Knowing the components of a cappuccino enables you to visualize the procedures later.

Cappuccino is actually an espresso filled with 2 types of heated milk, i.e the steamed milk and the frothed milk. And, it is the frothed milk that gives cappuccino that classic look and it is also the "so difficult " frothing that lead world coffee bodies in using the froth to evaluate the skills of baristas.

The proportion of cappuccino is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 heated milk and 1/3 frothed milk. We would not touch on espresso in this article, as it warrants one entire article on how to get a good espresso, here we would highlight the other 2 components, the steamed and frothed milk, to better your learning in how to make cappuccino.

You would get steamed milk when the heat source (usually the steam wand) is injected into the milk, slightly below boiling point. As the injection of hot air is controlled to a minimal, there would not be any change in the milk volume except for a small amount of micro bubbles or froth.

To get more bubbles, i.e. to get frothed milk, place the steam wand at the surface of the milk, and this would creates more of the micro bubbles, remove the steam wand, when the froth has the look and feel of whipped cream.

Now, let's learn how to make cappuccino in 3 simple steps:

i. when using an espresso machine, while waiting for the espresso to brew, steam and froth the milk in a frothing pitcher. Once done, set it aside for approximately 30 seconds.

This is to allow the milk densities to separate. To speed up the process, you can try what Starbucks or most coffee shops' baristas are doing -by knocking the frothing pitcher on the table, this would separate the steam from the froth milk.

ii. Then, take a large spoon to keep the milk foam as you pour out the steam milk. As you pour the steam milk into a mug, do it slowly to prevent breaking the froth, and stop when you reaches 1/3 of the mug.

With the 1/3 steam milk done, spooned up the froth milk and put it on top of the steamed milk, this foamed milk should take up another 1/3 of the mug.

iii. For the last 1/3 of the mug, pour in the espresso down the middle of this foamy sculpture. And there you have it, a foamy cappuccino!

Not that complicated right? No need to ask how to make cappuccino like that Starbucks baristas anymore right? You can do it with 3 simple steps!:)

The common name for hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating, and around the globe today are thousands if not millions of people that suffer from the effects of it. One of the main troubles in trying to eradicate excessive sweating is that no single methodology can handle both the symptoms and the cause; right now only one or the other can be treated.

Surgery may be a pretty drastic step in the move to get rid of excessive sweating, but for many persons who are overwhelmed with the poor quality of life they are forced to lead because of excessive sweating, then surgery begins to look more desirable. The overbearing weight that the mental stress and emotional wear and tear puts on these people, makes them make such a choice.

When you have dug deep into the barrel of choices of treatment and now you are at the bottom with nothing to show for the effort, then you resort to surgery to cure the condition because you are sure that surgery will work where nothing else you've tried has. Over and over again, the sufferers of excessive sweating find that the treatment methods that glut the market are not as effective as they are cracked up to be, and in fact the majority of them do no do anything helpful at all.

Surgery is not the only answer for those folks who are at the mercy of excessive sweating; there are other treatments available. The lessening of sweat production from the medicinal effects of these powerful products is a good thing, but not what was expected when the products were designed; they were to stop sweat production altogether not reduce it when they were introduced as alternative methods. Don't attempt to take these very strong products without a doctor overseeing what is going on, because it is not unusual for persons to react negatively to these products.

When these choices are placed in front of them and people are asked to decide which method they want to try to start curbing their excessive sweating, quite a few will turn their backs on those choices and go for the holistic way of doing things as a replacement. Holistic medicine is a much easier route to take for many persons searching for answers for excessive sweating treatments, and holistic medicine contains a myriad of ways of eradicating sweating problems such as acupuncture, herbal means, ayurveda, and homeopathy.

Even though the choice to go with holistic medicine is left up to the person who has the excessive sweating problem, that person should seek advice from someone schooled in the method.

Don't forget that if you have health conditions or medical problems above and beyond the excessive sweating symptoms, you should be sure to mention that before starting a process to take care of the sweating problems. Whatever it is you are going to use to take care of your sweating troubles, this is the only way you will be able to acquire the entire positive response to the procedure regardless if it is traditional or holistic.

Excessive sweating puts a lot of pressure on the individual who is subjected to it, not only from the aspect of the negative response one gets from todays society but also from the mental and emotional trials that he is tested with on a daily basis. Having a therapist to help you alleviate the pressures and weight of care that is pressing down on you is a real benefit and can provide a great source of comfort.

Why let something like excessive sweating and all its negative connotations wear away your reserve, when just by taking a little extra time and effort to make yourself be more secure and able to take on society, you will make a large impact on your life. This is all you really want to do, when you come right down to it.

Back pain on lower right side is quite a common phenomenon and can be cured in six weeks or less, but only if the exact cause is found and eliminated. Most of the doctors aim to treat the back pain without trying to find out the exact cause of that pain.

In majority of the cases back pain on lower right side is the result of a poor posture, an injury in the back, muscle imbalances, improper lifting or bending or extra body weight. Poor posture is the most common cause of back pain on lower right side. An appropriate posture lends stability and strength to the spine. A large number of people can alleviate their back pain by taking efforts to improve their posture.

An injury can often result in back pain on lower right side. Although we can take steps to avoid any form of injury, it may still happen. Back pain resulting from any kind of injury can generally be rectified or its intensity can be reduced by undertaking proper stretching exercises. It is important that we take proper steps to keep the muscles in our body in a proper balance. An imbalance in our muscles can often lead to back pain on lower right side. Proper exercise is essential to maintain the balance amongst the various muscles in our body.

Improper lifting refers to an incorrect way to lift the things from the floor or anywhere and generally results in back pain on lower right side. It is essential that one follows the correct way to lift things. One should bend from the knees and not from the waist to pick up things from the floor, irrespective of the weight of the thing to be lifted. Back pain on the lower right side can also occur when a person tries to lift excessive weight. Obese people also tend to suffer from back pain. The solution thus lies in shedding the extra weight on your body.

As you know, most of you at some point will start experiencing hair loss. There are some of you that became bald in your twenties or thirties. But most you, you will lose your hair gradually and then one day you will notice your hair thinning in one area. This occurs because as you age your health deteriorates.

Poor health and hair loss

There are quite a few areas that are related to hair loss. But in general they are all tied together in a fine puzzle. The major reason for hair loss that I discovered was poor health, both physical and psychological. When you are in poor health, you will exhibit numerous symptoms and one that becomes obvious is hair loss.

The extreme poor health condition is when people are subjected to chemotherapy. All of the body systems are poisoned creating massive poor health. All hair is lost.

Hair loss and the endocrine system

Hair loss relates to your body's endocrine system. It is these organs, thyroid, adrenal, thymus, and pancreas that control the function of your body's health by the hormones that they release. One hormone that controls hair loss and hair growth is testosterone.

Hair loss and testosterone

Testosterone is frequently converted to a substance call DHT by a specific enzyme. It is DHT that affects hair growth by disturbing your hair's follicle and destroying it. When the endocrine organs fail to control testosterone there is an excess, much of this excess is converted to DHT.

Women also have testosterone but this is balanced by the high level o estrogen that they have. But when the estrogen balance is upset, women will see hair loss because of more testosterone in their blood.

Diet and hair loss

The food you eat also determines how much testosterone is created in your body. It is important to eat a special type of natural diet to maintain healthy organs that can keep a hormonal balance in your body, so that you have good body health.

When you are not in the best of health and use various types of medication, your hormones are out of balance and your body is in need of nutritional help. It is the vitamins and minerals that help the body rebalance it self, but it is best that these nutrients come from raw food. This is why a colon and blood cleanse is important to do to give your body some help in providing nutrients and giving it a rest from processing heavy foods.

Stress and hair loss

Then there is stress. This is a real hair killer. Stress uses up a lot of your vitamins and minerals. Your body protects you from stress by releasing cortisone and by adjusting your hormone levels to an un-natural condition. Stress creates an imbalance in your hormones and now your hair loss increases and your health starts to deteriorate.

The one thing I realized as I researched why I experience hair loss 15 years ago is that if you seek to improve your health in a natural way, your health gets better and your hair loss stops and maybe you may even grow some hair back.

Let’s face it. You don’t always have five hours to prepare a gourmet meal. In fact, most of the time it’s hard to even find an hour to throw something together.

Here are some fast, easy tricks, tips and techniques to save you time and energy.

Buy a salad mix: Those pre-made mixtures have come a long way. They’re not just lettuce anymore. Dressing, toppings such as almond slivers and dried cranberries, and more make it look like you really spent some time. Open the bag and you have salad.

Prefreeze your Chicken Breasts: It’s always good to have some chicken in the freezer. They’ll thaw in minutes and you’ll have a nice meal ready for the family.

Frozen bread dough: There’s so much assortment these days. From crescent rolls to biscuits to the traditional dinner roll, they’re all available and you’re house will smell delicious while they’re baking. Who has time for yeast anyway?

Frozen fruits: Will save you money and time by allowing you to have strawberries in the middle of winter. Yum.

Shredded cheese: Most recipes call for cheese to be shredded anyway so why not buy it preshredded?

Canned stock and broth: Who really has 24-48 hours to make stock from scratch? Not worth it at all.

Shelf pasta: It’s a really quick simple meal when you’ve got nothing else to make. Also it lasts forever, so you don’t have to worry about it going bad.

Salad dressings: Paul Newman is doing us all a favor by having his face on so many different varieties of salad dressing, plus his version won’t spoil as fast and probably costs less.

Artichoke hearts: As much as I love a good fresh artichoke the work you have to do to get that little heart is sometimes not worth it.

Tomatoes: Canned tomatoes are awesome and lots of recipes call for them nowadays instead of the fresh kind. Plus you can buy them in so many sizes and types.

If you are working out to develop six pack abs then you need to be aware of the three biggest mistakes described in this article and avoid them at all cost!

First, you need to understand the difference between getting six pack abs and simply losing body fat. Getting six pack abs is a all about having extremely low levels of body fat. For men this is around 8% and for women around 15%. Training and eating to get body fat levels this low is much different than someone who just starts a diet and wants to lose 20-30lbs.

If you are just trying to lose a lot of weight, then making small changes to your diet will help you make a lot of progress very fast. For example, if you were to only drink water, unsweetened iced tea, and green tea, then you will not be consuming any calories from beverages. For someone who just wants to lose weight, a small modification such as this can make a big difference.

For someone who wants to get six pack abs, the process is much more detailed. Here are two mistakes that most people make when they try to develop six pack abs.

Six Pack Abs Mistake #1: They try to do too many crunches and ab exercises.

While crunches and other ab exercises will help to build a stronger core, they will not help you get down to a low level of body fat. Trying to use endless reps of ab exercises simply does not build enough muscle or work your body hard enough to burn significant calories.

The myth of "spot" reduction is where a lot of people get caught up. The concept of spot reduction basically states that if you want to lose fat in a certain part of the body you should work the muscle underneath it. Our bodies do not store fat in one specific place, therefore you cannot lose fat in one specific place either.

I guarantee you will never see someone who has six pack abs in the front and is flabby around the rest of their midsection. If spot reduction actually worked this is what would happen. In the real world however, you need to focus on losing body fat all over in order to developing six pack abs.

Six Pack Abs Mistake #2: Trying to use infomercial ab gimmicks

When you see an advertisement for an "miracle" piece of ab equipment, the people who are using them usually have great bodies, low body fat, and a great six pack. However I can guarantee you one thing, and that is they did not get that way to using one single piece of abdominal exercise equipment.

Like we just talked about with why lots of crunches do not help you get six pack abs, the same holds true for any ab crunch machine or anything else you see on an advertisement.

This all goes back to the false concept that working the abs with lots of exercises will directly lead to a six pack. All the people who have the best abs got them by exercising their whole body and by adhering to a very strict diet. Not by using some ab crunch gimmick for "two easy payments of $29.95." Six Pack Abs Mistake #3: Eating too many calories.

Sounds overly simplistic doesn't it?

This is one of the most important core concepts that is crucial to understanding how to lose body fat and develop six pack abs. So many people try to eat healthy and still have trouble losing weight. Sometimes they think they have something physiologically wrong with them and their bodies simply cannot lose weight.

Before you fall into this trap and start seeking "miracle" quick fixes, you need to know that not being able to lose body fat is simply a matter of taking in too many calories. If you try keeping a food journal for a week and counting the calories you consume you will be amazed at the insight it will give you.

Even if you eat 400 extra calories a day from little snacks here and there (which is not difficult at all), you will be taking in an extra 2,800 calories per week. For some people, taking in an extra 500-1000 calories per day can easily come from foods that are extremely calorie dense but do not help you feel full. Such foods include bagels, donuts, muffins, potato chips, soda, any kind of fast food, and more.

So before you think that getting six pack abs or simply losing body fat is impossible for you, try taking a few days to really track what you are eating. You will be surprised that losing weight can really be as simple as cutting out small calories dense foods from your diet.

A wise man once said that having sexy six pack abs feels better than the best tasting food in the world. Remember this concept and start taking action today. Good luck!

Health Guru : Are Allergies and Asthma Related?
Webmaster | 9. January 2008 @ 16:02

When we hear of allergy and asthma studies, we often find them lumpted together. Is there really a connection between allergies and asthma? To get to the answer to this, we must first learn what allergies and asthma actually are.

Allergies are immune system reactions to things that others would find harmless. Certain foods, pollen, even dust are all considered allergens that can trigger an allergic reaction. The immune system produces antibodies that release chemicals

Asthma is a chronic lung condition, characterized by difficulty in breathing due to extra sensitive or hyper-responsive airways. During an asthma attack, the airways become irritated and react by narrowing and constructing, causing increased resistance to airflow, and obstructing the flow of air to and from the lungs. Common early warning signs of asthma include fatigue, coughing (especially at night), wheezing, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, runny nose, and itchy throat.

Allergies, on the other hand, are immune system reactions to things that most people would experience as harmless. Certain foods, dust, pollen ... these are allergens that can trigger an allergy attack. When they're encountered, the body's immune system produces IgE antibodies to fight the allergen. These antibodies create the release of chemicals into the bloodstream, one of which (histamine) affects the eyes, nose, throat, lungs, and skin, causing the allergy's symptoms.

So now that we have a better picture of how these two health conditions work, the question becomes ... is there a relationship between allergies and asthma?

It's true that those with certain allergies (usually allergies that affect the nose and eyes, such as dust mites, animal dander, mold or pollen) are more likely to develop asthma than say ... those without allergies or those with allergies in other classifications, such as food allergies. But it's also true that many of those with allergies never develop asthma at all.

In addition, there are other factors that can contribute to a person's asthma. Unmonitored exercise, for example. Or other illnesses, such as colds or the flu.

Scientists aren't sure what lies at the root cause of asthma. Various studies are looking at a variety of factors, including air pollution, obesity, and as strange as it might sound, even the lack of exposure to viruses and bacteria in childhood (which may prevent the immune system from growing stronger).

What we do know is that exposure to indoor allergens, pollen, animal dander, grass ... in other words, allergy-related factors, are often found in asthmatics. Often, but not always. And it also appears that asthma tends to run in families. If both parents have asthma, there's actually a 40% probability their children will develop the disease as well.

Current research efforts have been exploring the influence of environmental factors, genetics (as mentioned above), and even stress on asthma. This creates the potential to dramatically reduce a person's asthma severity levels by altering his or her exposure to the aggravating factors. This can be particularly successful when the culprit is something that's relatively easy to control. Dust, for instance. Or something only encountered in a work environment. Or, though it's certainly much more difficult because of the emotional component, a family pet.

Unfortunately, the most common allergy that appears to have a direct influence on asthma is an allergy to dust mites. Eliminating these mites to the extent that it might make a difference in the severity of your asthma requires a major change in lifestyle and can often be quite expensive. That doesn't mean it can't be done, only that it's not as easy as simply staying indoors during the pollen season or switching to a less stressful job.

Of course, new treatments are coming along all the time, and considerable research is currently dedicated to finding ways to modify, abolish or diminish the affect allergies have on the body. It's believed that with the successful control of allergies can come the successful control of asthma, particularly in younger sufferers.

In the meantime, here's what we know ... asthma can be triggered by allergic reactions, but it can also be triggered by nonallergic reactions. Most asthma attacks result from exposure to allergens such as pollen, household dust, and mold. These attacks can be influenced by indoor or outdoor environments. Because a majority of asthma sufferers are affected by some form of allergies, it's worth the effor to work closely with your doctor to try to identify and control all potential allergens within your influence.

Health Guru : Indigestion - Insulating The Body From Painful Tummy Acids
Webmaster | 8. January 2008 @ 16:02

WHAT EXACTLY IS INDIGESTION?

If you have been to a party and have taken too many fatty foods, you would in all likelihood have indigestion. Indigestion is a common tummy dysfunction. Everybody has felt this discomfort called indigestion at some point or the other. However, the most complain of indigestion is flatulence or formation of gas in the tummy. Long with it comes the uneasy feeling of something solid and bitter coming up the food pipe or the esophagus. This is nothing but the stomach acid rising.

INDIGESTION SYMPTOMS

Some other symptoms of indigestion are nausea, a burning sensation or pain particularly in the upper portion of your abdomen, and you may even feel bloated. Indigestion also causes heartburn and unstoppable burping.

INDIGESTION DISORDERS

There is, of course, no need for worry if you had indigestion after a heavy dinner. However, if indigestion keeps on recurring with an uncanny regularity, then do consult a doctor. Such frequent indigestion can be a sign of a serious tummy ailment. Indigestion without having any fatty meals is definitely not natural.

Prolonged and rather repeated indigestion can be the cause of the irritation of the tummy lining or of the duodenum. The duodenum hollow tube connects the stomach and the jejunum (the central and shortest portion of the small intestine). Such aggravation can aggravate into life-threatening ulcers. Mentionably, many confuse heart burn with this dysfunction. But heart burn is basically due to the irritation of the esophagus.

DYSPEPSIA

Dyspepsia refers to the recurring pain in the tummy. Dyspepsia is also accompanied by heart burn, nausea and indigestion. Dyspepsia can be caused by ulcers in the stomach. These ulcers are formed by the hydrochloric acids. The situation can be aggravated by heart burn and indigestion. Certain drugs used in schizophrenia and arthritis have also been identified as primary causes of dyspepsia.

MEANS TO AVOID INDIGESTION

If you go to bed late or take your major meals quite late, you can have acid indigestion. So, always follow a proper diet roster. It is always advisable to have homemade meals. If you cannot make the time, then opt for a hygienic locale. Moreover, have the meals at the fixed times. Go for a nutritious breakfast. Then you can skip the lunch. Have lunch before noon and supper latest by nine. Avoid fast food as much as possible.

Dont hit the bed immediately after the major meals. Allow the meal to settle down. Walk leisurely for some time after the meals.

Kick away the habit many people have of drinking water between and immediately after the meals. The water leads to flatulence formation. Allow at least 30 minutes between the meal and the glass of water.

Spice may be appealing to the palate. It is very dangerous for the tummy. Spicy foods trigger off flatulence. Similar is the case with the mouth watering dairy products. How many can say NO! to chocolates? But then dont rue the day if you have acid indigestion later on. The best option is to stay away from these lollipop booby traps. Having them in limited quantity once in a blue moon is okay, though!

Just as overeating is akin to inviting indigestion so also is drinking too much of alcohol or even caffeine. The other popular hobby of hundreds of people, namely smoking is also a culprit.

RELIEF FROM INDIGESTION

To get immediate relief, you can go for antacids. These antacids are readily available in any chemists shop. Antacids cure indigestion by neutralizing the hydrochloric acids that form in the tummy. The fatty substances that we consume accelerate the acid formation process. This leads to the uncomfortable feeling of indigestion.

BREATHING & YOGIC EXERCISES

To provide your body guaranteed immunity from indigestion, take to breathing and yogic exercises. One simple yogic byam also called asana (exercise) is the Bajrasana. After you have your meal, kneel down with your feet fingers bent outside under your buttocks. Place your hands on your knees. Close your eyes. Take deep breaths and concentrate on the food in your tummy. Imagine that they being digested. Wait for just five seconds and then exhale. Repeat it 10 times. Email me if you do not feel relaxed.

Early in the morning after brushing your teeth, just gulp down five grains of rice. Wait for some time and then drink at least 400 milligrams of water. This will stop indigestion and also ensure smooth bowel movement. Besides, you wont feel hungry or feel the formation of gas if you have to skip lunch during the day.

Last but not the least, remember this principle. It is after all your body. Learn to respect it and it will respect you. Dont overuse this machine. The parts may get worn out. Dont treat is as a dustbin! You may have to spend a fortune overhauling it!

Health Guru : How to Remove Blackheads
Webmaster | 7. January 2008 @ 16:02

Do you know what I think the worst pimple of them all is? Well that's easy, it's the one that just won't go away. Sure, many of them tend to run on certain cycles, but others are just downright stubborn. What do you do about those pimples? Well, as you know, there are a number of methods and treatments available to aid you in this battle. You definitely don't want to do anything that will lead to even more breakout. Yes, I did say more breakout. Some products are simply not right for your skin, and can create more acne through harsh irritation.

One thing to be very concerned about his blackheads. I think you're familiar with blackheads at this point. These are those horrible little blocked pores. So many of us have them on our noses where it typically remains oily. Now, the question remains, how to remove blackheads? Well, listen up, we need to get this right.

If you're one of the thousands trying to figure out a way how to remove blackheads, let's take a step back for a moment. Don't go rushing and an inadvertently causing damage to your skin. Trust me when I say that I understand completely that blackheads are horrid things that need to be dealt with immediately.

These nasty looking things always hide deep in our pores, making it horribly painful to get them out. A lot of people go with the pinch and squeeze technique. While this probably does temporarily rid you of some blackheads, it is by no means a permanent fix. The real problem with the this technique is the damage or cause by the pressure you apply when you're pinching.

All that squeezing and pinching can lead to broken blood vessels around the nose, which believe me, are not all that pretty to look at either. See what I mean about making sure you don't rush into anything foolish? Probably the most popular and contemporary route concerning how to remove blackheads is the ever-popular Biore strip. They are relatively new and seem to make sense in their function. People are buying these things up. My wife was using them like a mad women.

Although the adhesive strips do pull out up to 50 percent of the current blackheads, they also come with a warning. The warning has everything to do with their harshness. I think you know what I mean if you have ever used one. These powerful strips can irritate your delicate skin, hence producing more irritation. And that only brings more blackheads ladies and gentlemen.

One effective method regarding how to remove blackheads concerns a hot wash cloth. A gentle facial scrub following application of a warm moist washcloth on your face for a period of 10 minutes can really help a lot. This should shew away some of those gnarly beasts without damaging your delicate puss. Some individuals prefer a professional blackhead remover. You can usually find news easily enough on the Internet. Remember to use gently. If you learn how to remove blackheads the proper way you'll be much better off.

Secret Recipes Frittlers Part 2 (Italian Pasties)

Hello a couple months ago I did an article on my families all time favourite secret recipe Frittlers (Italian Pasties). There is 2 ways you can make them one is with oil the other without oil. I love them both ways out of 5 with oil I give it 5 without oil I give it 4.75 still sensational. The article I did 2 months ago was with oil so Ive updated this with the way to do it without oil.

The reason for this without oil is healthier then with oil so if you would like to try it but without oil this is for you. I have them both ways and love them.

Firstly the oil recipe I did 2-3 months ago is below and underneath it is how to do it without oil Secret Recipes Frittlers Part 2 (Italian Pasties).

You are in for a treat. We name the recipe Frittlers (Italian Pasties)

With Oil Secret Recipes Frittlers Part 1 (Italian Pasties)

Ingredients

7g yeast,
1 cup lukewarm water if need more add extra but dont make it soggy,
3 cups plain flour,
pinch of salt,
pepper,
cheese, not mozzarella cheese but either shredded tasty cheese or shredded plain cheese,
ham,
tomatoes,
tuna (chunk tuna) instead of ham
canola oil

Put flour in bowl make a hole in the centre then add water and yeast mix together with pinch of salt. Work the dough dont make it real dry. Then put in plastic bag, close bag up. Then put in a warm spot such as under blankets somewhere warm for about 1hour to 1.5 hours for it to rise to double its size.

While it's rising get ham and cheese, not mozzarella cheese but either shredded tasty cheese or shredded plain cheese. Cut up ham add cheese then mix together.

Roll out dough to pasty round sizes do one at a time, add ham, cheese and sprinkle of pepper no salt then roll up pasty. When rolled up with filling at the ends with a fork press it and go around the edges. Then prick it lightly with fork twice around the middle.

Continue doing that until finished. Once done put 2 at a time in a frying pan with canola oil so oil covers the whole lot make sure oil is hot. (Just be careful because of heat) Cook to nice gold colour about 4-5 minutes then turn over and do other side. Take them out and put on paper towel to get rid of some of the oil. Can eat them basically straight away or you might wait to they cool down that is up to you.

There is no problems with freezing them they still taste fantastic.

If you want to add tomatoes you can but have it within 24 hours but dont freeze any with tomatoes, what I do is if take them out the freezer when they thaw out I cut in half and add tomato and put in oven or griller.

Can also have chunk tuna instead of ham with the cheese. Tuna and cheese is also okay to freeze.

Also if you like you can add chopped up onion or anything that you enjoy.

Without Oil Secret Recipes Frittlers Part 2 (Italian Pasties)

You do exactly the same as with oil but instead of using oil and cooking them in a frying pan put them in the oven for roughly 10-15 minutes on 200 Degrees Celsius or 400 Degrees Fahrenheit then flip over again for extra 10 minutes and enjoy. (You can put on just a touch of oil on the Frittlers just before putting them in the oven).

This family secret recipe is one your family and friends will really appreciate, bon appetite!

Health Guru : Holidays Are Just Right For Chocolates
Webmaster | 4. January 2008 @ 16:02

There are many different holidays that are wonderful for giving and receiving chocolates as gifts. And this is especially true if you have children in the family. Seeing their little faces light up when they bite into a chocolate candy bar or smores treat is absolutely priceless. And if you are lucky enough to be the recipient of the gift, it will be your tastebuds that thank you. Creamy dark or milk chocolate candies are excellent presents to give and receive, which is why the selection is greater than it has ever been.

The Easter holiday is traditionally one for filling baskets with candy for the little ones. You can place white chocolate bunnies that are either hollow or solid in the basket, and surround it with peanut butter filled chocolate eggs. Add a bunch of jelly beans, and maybe some marshmellow treats and your children will be delighted when the actually find the baskets. Be sure to save some for yourself though, because after the 'hunt' is over there will be nothing left.

Valentine's Day is another excellent occasion for showing the special people in your life just how important they are. One way to accomplish this is through giving chocolates. A creative way to do this is to find chocolate-covered roses, and mix them in with real ones to create a unique bouquet. You can also find many ideas from visiting online candy stores and looking at their specialized offerings. Many will have special products geared toward certain occasions in your life.

Another big holiday for giving candies is Halloween. This is probably the most popular of holidays with kids, and it's easy to see why. They go house to house collecting numerous treats, to be enjoyed over and over for many weeks. One thing you should be sure to do is buy alot of extra candy, so you have many 'leftovers' to snack on yourself. And you know it will be too hard to resist breaking some open while you are handing it out.

Birthdays round out the list of 'heavy hitter' occasions in terms of giving chocolates. In this case, it is usually coupled with a gift to add a little something extra to the person you love. Candy makes an excellent compliment to just about any other item.

It's pretty obvious why the candy industry has grown to where it is today. People love to eat chocolate, and thus love to receive it as a gift. The variety of what you can purchase today is unbelievable, meaning there is something to satisfy even the most picky of individuals. With a little research you can locate the perfect sweets, and with a little luck the recipient will be happy to share it with you.

Health Guru : Teeth Bleaching Facts
Webmaster | 3. January 2008 @ 16:02

Unlike whitening toothpastes, which only remove surface stains to reveal the underlying whiteness of teeth, bleaching agents actually make teeth whiter.

The most common teeth bleaching agents are hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.

The effectiveness of teeth bleaching depends on the color of your teeth. Bleaching works best for yellow stains, while gray teeth, which can result from certain antibiotics, are much harder to whiten.People who have stains from smoking, red wine or coffee can get very good results with teeth whitening.

There are two different ways to get whiter teeth:dental (in-office) whitening, and using a home bleaching kit available through a dentist.

A dentist applies a whitening gel, containing a high concentration of hydrogen peroxide, to your teeth, which is then activated by a special blue high intensity light or laser, causing the gel to release the oxygen molecules. The laser merely activates the bleaching gel,it doesn't actually penetrate the teeth.

The results depend on the shade of your teeth before bleaching.

While in-office teeth bleaching is the safest route to go, home teeth bleaching can be also be safe, and effective,if done properly and under the supervision of a dentist.

Tray teeth whitening technique involves the use of a plastic tray that is filled with bleaching gel and then fitted over your teeth.By keeping the bleaching gel in contact with your teeth, for the prescribed period of time, your teeth will get whiter.Persons who are using the teeth bleaching products should always ask a dentist for advice.

Increased tooth sensitivity and gum irritation and are the most common side effects of teeth bleaching. Some people even experience extreme pain.Your dentist will advise you on the appropriate steps to take if your teeth become sensitive during the bleaching process.

Although the results of teeth whitening can vary from person to person, most people are very satisfied with their results. But if teeth bleaching isn't working for you or if have teeth that are shaped badly or crooked, veneers may be the option.

Health Guru : Water And Exercise
Webmaster | 2. January 2008 @ 16:02

The human body is made up of over 75% of water, and as we all know, we cannot live without water. The fact is, we can only survive for a total of 3 days without water. Water has however, been replaced in most diets by soft drinks and other sugar sweetened refreshments. Keep in mind that water is a healthier and necessary for leading yourself towards a better health and longevity.

Your own personal need for water can vary greatly due to exercise, weight, and temperature. Research has proven that over 2/3 of adults don't get the water they need on a daily basis. By drinking water on a regular basis you can replenish your body and keep it well hydrated and functioning as it should be.

A majority of us wait until we are thirsty before we drink water. Keep in mind, this way isn't a reliable gauge of the water needs for the body. By the time you are thirsty you have already lost two of more cups of the body's water supply. Therefore, drinking water regularly is much better than simply waiting until you are thirsty.

It is very important that you don't substitute beverages with alcohol and caffeine for water. The reason behind this is that those types of beverages act as a diuretic and can cause you to lose more weight through increased urination. You may think and feel as if you are getting more water through these beverages, although the fact is that you are letting it go almost as fast as you consume it.

Anytime you exercise, you need more water. Due to perspiration, your body will lose quite a bit of water. For each pound lost due to exercise, you need to drink 2 cups of water. Even when you lay down to sleep, your body loses water. By drinking a glass or more of water before you go to sleep, you can wake up with your body functioning as it should be.

It should become more obvious that when you are sick you'll need more water than any other tine. When you get a cold or the flu, your body can become dehydrated quite quickly. You can help to prevent this by drinking more water at times when you become sick.

There are several mixed opinions as to whether purified water will actually provide benefit. This is a subject you should explore yourself as you determine the best type of water for yourself.

Always make it a habit to drink water on a daily basis. You should keep a bottle of water with you at all times and drink it throughout the day. You should also teach yourself to drink water instead of other beverages that don't replenish the nutrients your body needs.
